ABOUT BLUE DIODE
We are a publisher of quality books, mainly poetry, based in Leith, Scotland. Our first publication was Spark, a poetry anthology containing poems written in response to the novels of Muriel Spark. Since then, we have published several individual poetry collections, with more to come. One of those, Juana Adcock's Split, was the Poetry Book Society Choice for winter 2019. This book, along with Tessa Berring's Bitten Hair, was highly commended in the Forward Prizes.
We were open for submissions - until mid-August 2023 - but have now closed again. But please also take a look at the site and the books for sale, and perhaps buy one (or more!). Your support of independent publishing will be much appreciated.

Blue Diode Press is run by Scottish poet, Rob A. Mackenzie. His latest full collection (his third) is The Book of Revelation, published by Salt in 2020. More information, and a few poems, can be found about him here.
